The impacts of marginalization are far-reaching, affecting the emotional, physical, and mental health of the youth we serve. Many of our youth are involved with Child Protection Services or entangled in our legal system. There is a large body of research that connects a wide range of negative outcomes to these circumstances. iHuman’s mission, fueled by the resilience and determination of the at-risk youth we serve, is to use the arts as a catalyst for growth, sustainability, inclusion, and acceptance. We are committed to empowering our youth with the skills and confidence to navigate their world using art as a gateway to opportunity.
